Examples of customised productions realised to date
One example is the world-famous show Apassionata: all the fire effects and fire choreography involved are the work of Project PQ. Under the direction of choreographer and artistic director Petra Quednau, the dancers performing in Apassionata learn to juggle with fire. The APASSIONATA tour “Companions of Light” was launched successfully in October 2017 (and later staged under the name “Cavalluna”). With its wonderful sets and magnificent staging, the new programme was hailed by audiences as the best one in years. Petra Quednau was also hired as coach on the European tour of “World of Fantasy”. Since 2010, Petra Quednau has staged numerous customised shows and productions incorporating light and dance. Our clients include S.Oliver, Bosch Car Service, Siemens, Michelin and Weleda.
At the opening ceremony of the Gay Games 2010 in Cologne, we worked with 24 fire artists from all over Germany. In a confined space surrounding the well-known singer Taylor Dayne, we put on a sparkling performance.
In Frankfurt, we staged an entire show in a park. Dramatic lighting effects, pyrotechnics and synchronised fire choreography were used here, making this production the visitor magnet of the Luminale.
We look forward to hearing from you and putting your ideas into practice.
