1,000 Guests, Giant Bubbles and Plenty of Reels
On 19 June 2026, Petra Quednau took the stage as a soap bubble artist at Nintendo's major corporate event at Gateway Garden Frankfurt – and what happened that evening left more than just the guests amazed. 1,000 guests. A vast outdoor area. And right in the middle of it all: floating, shimmering giant soap bubbles glowing like liquid crystal in the evening light.
A World Traveller on a Bubble Mission
With her decorated cart – fog, music, LED light – Petra slipped into the role of an intergalactic traveller who had been journeying through the universe on a giant soap bubble, only to make an emergency landing when entering Earth's atmosphere. Now she needs help to get back home. This story captivated guests immediately. No stage announcement, no applause on cue – just genuine, spontaneous encounters right in the middle of the crowd.
📱 When Guests Get Their Hands on the Bubble Wand
What made the evening truly special: guests were invited to join in. Petra showed them how to create giant soap bubbles – and suddenly many were standing there, wand in hand, focused and full of anticipation for that perfect moment. The effect was stunning. Within minutes, the first smartphones came out. Reels were recorded. Photos with giant bubbles in the background, with heads inside them, with colleagues laughing like they hadn't in ages.
Soap bubbles are simply irresistibly photogenic. They are fleeting, they catch light like almost nothing else – and when they are created by the guests' own hands, the result on the screen is twice as magical.
🎪 Soap Bubble Show as a Walkact: Flexible, Close, Everywhere
As a mobile walkact, the soap bubble show is ideal for events where not all guests are looking at a stage at the same time. Petra comes to the people – at the bar, on the terrace, right in the middle of a conversation. The format fits seamlessly into any event schedule with up to three sets of 30–45 minutes each. At the Nintendo event at Gateway Garden, that was exactly what made the difference: the area was large, guests spread out – and the show was still present everywhere.
🧒 Soap Bubbles for Kids – and Everyone Who (Secretly) Still Is One
The soap bubble show isn't only for corporate events. It is one of the most popular options for soap bubbles for kids – whether at street festivals, family celebrations, school events or birthday parties. Children love the magic of floating bubbles, the joining in, the wonder. And adults? When faced with a giant soap bubble, even they tend to forget for a moment that they are supposed to be grown up.
