What is an LED show?

An LED show is an artistic performance that combines traditional elements such as juggling, dance and acrobatics with modern LED technology. The use of illuminated props such as balls, flags, clubs, sticks or hula hoops creates impressive visual effects. An LED show is at its best in a darkened room or in the evening. One highlight is the so-called pixel poi - special glow sticks - which can be used to conjure up graphics, logos or lettering in the dark. This effect is created by fast rotating movements of the sticks and is perfectly programmed in advance to the music.
Our LED show Cyber Lights goes one step further. In a completely choreographed and programmed show concept, inspired by the film “Tron”, our LED show is particularly modern and coordinated in terms of content. A remarkable feature is the so-called “Tron Table”, a specially designed table with integrated video animation that runs in sync with the music and juggling. Customers have the option of integrating their logo or event motto into the animation, making it ideal for branding corporate events. And the line-up of light dancers can be flexibly adapted to the budget and local conditions, from solo performances to performances with four dancers.

What is the difference between an LED show and a black light show?

Both LED shows and black light shows work with luminous effects, but differ in their technology and effect:
The LED show:
An LED show like our Cyber Lights uses programmable LED props and costumes with their own light source. The colors, patterns and animations can be individually controlled or programmed in advance to match the music.  The show works independently of any special lighting. We add UV lighting to the show to give the costumes a special glow.
The black light show:
A black light show such as the Animatix Lux or the Glowdance use UV light (black light) in combination with fluorescent materials. Costumes, props and body paint glow due to the UV light. But glowing props can also be incorporated into these shows. You can create a magical “floating effect” on stage with the use of so-called “black players”. These are performers whose black clothing makes them appear invisible against the black background. This effect requires absolute darkness and special UV lighting.
While LED shows are particularly flexible and versatile, a black light show offers magical tricks with floating objects or even people. Both show forms are impressive visual experiences that can be selected depending on the event and the desired effect

What types of LED shows are there? (e.g. dance, juggling, drone shows)

1. LED juggling show
The artists juggle with LED clubs, balls or sticks. Fast movements create fascinating light patterns.

2. LED dance show
The dancers wear luminous costumes or use LED props. Synchronized choreographies with music and light animation.

3. Pixel Poi show
Special LED sticks (pixel poi) create logos, texts or images. Perfect for brand presentations and events with personalized branding.

4. Interactive LED show
The audience can control colors and effects via apps or sensors. This is often used at trade fairs or interactive events.

5. LED acrobatic show
Combination of aerial acrobatics and illuminated costumes or props. In the program of Project PQ we offer an innovative mix of a black light acrobatic show. The aerial acrobatics act KAAA.

6. video mapping/projection mapping
A dance performance or LED show can be combined with video mapping. Projection or video mapping refers to the process of using a projector to illuminate any structured surface in a customized way. Projection mapping is a projection technique used to transform objects and elements into a display surface for video projection. The aim of mapping is to create optical illusions by projecting visual content onto static objects.  Such a show allows countless individual design possibilities, but is usually associated with a high technical effort.

7. Drone show
Synchronized drones with LED lighting form impressive patterns in the sky. Drone shows usually take place outdoors and are suitable for large events.

We combine the first three elements in the Cyber Lights LED show. In other words, this show includes both LED swing juggling and pixel poi. The whole thing is fused with professional dancers, synchronized choreography and effects to create an overall experience.

Which events is an LED show suitable for?

Our Cyber Lights LED show is versatile and suitable for a wide range of events, including corporate parties, galas, trade fairs, weddings, city festivals, product presentations and stage shows. Thanks to our mobile table, the show can be set up and dismantled quickly, making it ideal for events with a tight schedule. What's more, the show also works when there is residual light in the event space, so there is no need for a complete blackout. This makes it particularly flexible and adaptable to different event conditions.

How is an LED show choreographed?

Our LED shows are carefully choreographed to create a harmonious interplay of dance, light and music. As a professional dancer, I bring my many years of experience and my sense of aesthetics to every choreography. I attach particular importance to this:

Coherent visual images: LED effects are used in a targeted manner to direct the audience's gaze without overloading the show with lighting effects.

A common thread & climax: Each choreography follows a dramaturgical structure with a climax to sweep the audience away.

Precision & cleanliness: The exact execution of the movements is essential for an impressive show.

At Project PQ, we work exclusively with professional dancers who execute my choreographies precisely and expressively to guarantee an unforgettable experience.

How much does a professional LED show cost?

The price of an LED show varies depending on the scope and individual requirements. We offer a modular booking option - from an impressive solo performance to a show with four artists. Other factors also play a role, including

Travel costs: depending on the venue, we charge travel costs.

Accommodation costs: If a longer journey is required, hotel costs may be incurred.

Additional services and ancillary costs: GGF. Agency commission or KSK taxes. On request, we can provide a music system for an additional charge.

Our LED shows start from around € 650 plus VAT. As every event is unique, we are happy to create an individual offer that is perfectly tailored to your wishes and general conditions.

What should I bear in mind when booking an LED show?

An LED show can be performed almost anywhere. It is important that it is dark enough for the lighting effects to be shown to their best advantage. A power connection must also be available. The guests should also have a good view of the show.
We provide everything else - from the lighting to the music system
Outdoor events:
For an outdoor LED show, make sure it is completely dry, as moisture can damage the sensitive electronics.
