Project PQ in times of the Corona crisis. Information for our customers and fans.
At the moment it is a very hard time for all creative and self-employed people. The event industry was hit first and will probably have to endure the longest time. The dynamics of the corona pandemic are terrible. I, too, was hit with my company Project PQ. Running costs such as rent, rehearsal room rental, insurance, vehicle, etc. remain with zero income. All events canceled until early June, for now. I think there is no need to say anything about the dimensions of culture, restaurants, small businesses and the self-employed. This is now clear to everyone and I'm not the only one. In the Mainz area, some of the affected have joined forces. You can support local companies on the Mainz.help website.
I don't want to complain about the economic size either. I consider myself lucky to be healthy, to live in a good health system and hopefully to be able to get help from the funds I have allocated when I need it. I hope that the Corona Virus will not rage in the poorer countries or spread so badly there and that a vaccine will be found by then.
I would like to thank all understanding customers who have paid the fees for the canceled events or paid the cancellation costs directly without “ifs and buts”. But I would also like to appeal to you: please do not cancel out of fear until November. Talk to me about what we can do. Together you will find a solution. Please understand that we cannot cancel the events already booked from June free of charge. I don't see any further existence for Project PQ. Project PQ creates jobs for many independent dancers, musical actors and actors who are part of my wonderful team.
And that's exactly why I keep fighting. I want to continue to be on stage with exactly this team. Realize enchanting shows for customers and stay creative. Rehearse with my great crew and burn for events!
