P'sonho di danca

The dancers Isabelle Gatterburg, Heidi Schink and Petra Quednau deal with the subject of surrealism in the performance project P'sonho di danca. In this performance we invite you to join us on a journey into the surreal world of a dream of a woman. Inspired by surrealism this group developed a concept to combine various forms of art. The interior design, live music and various figures appearing throughout the piece, such as the chimera, all invite you into another world.

In this performance revolving around a dreaming woman doors are opened and the woman is confronted with manifested emotions, lunacy and self-doubt. An interplay between reality and dream world arises. „A quite normal madness?" Checking out boundaries, when does madness begin, when does it end?  This comparison can begin to answer questions, but the answer lies within our self. The figures in this performance can also be used individually as walkacts for events. The performance project invites to dive in a surreal world.

An imaginative dance performance unravels which is performed in an accessible space. The interior design visually supports the performance creates and sense of submerging into another world. The patterns on the floor denote way of the characters and the dancer. The surreal characters including FiveFaces, White Chimera, and Red Soloquium interact with the dancer and the audience.

"Surrealism is the reflection of the grotesque and the wacky - a concentrated dose of lunacy, the concept of the inapprehensible."
