Logo presentation with lightshow in Dubai

Dubai. It is dark. A figure is visible. It is human, but you can see the veins and the heart as in an angiography. It is part of a show for a major German company on the stage of  a hotel in Dubai where three actors present a new logo in ultraviolet light.

Many of the 250 guests do not trust their eyes, when they observe how seemingly impossible things happen on the black light illuminated stage. Luminous clubs whirl through the air, poles float over the stage as if by invisible hands, a phoenix arises, the boundary between reality and fantasy fades.

The occasion of the show was the presentation of a new business unit that was created from the merger of two divisions. The logo of the new business unit consists of a flying phoenix in red, orange and pink, which for the first time was introduced during the show. At the outset, the two original business units were  presented, using  elaborate costumes, and a performance consisting of dance and a display of luminous juggling. For this purpose, Project PQ owner and performer Petra Quednau did extensive research in order to determine the areas of competence of the  business units. The merger of the two divisions was presented with the help of acrobatic lifts by the two dancers. After the introduction of the new corporate colors, the phoenix  then suddenly appeared from out of nowhere. In the end, the third performer was then lifted upwards. The nearly three meter high hovering phoenix, which was exactly in line with the new logo, then marked the grand finale of the performance.

For this show, Project PQ created a unique concept, which was presented to the customer beforehand. The matching costumes were especially designed and created in Project PQ's own workshop. Moreover, the preparation for the show included the selection of the music as well as the composition of a special choreography. Everything was developed and organized by Project PQ in a very short period of time. Within three weeks, Project PQ had created a completely new show, that put the ideas and wishes of the customer into the spotlight.

Apart from this show, Project PQ also displayed its black light show "Animatix-Lux" , which used a device by the company as an integral part of the performance.
