Firespectacle in Bucarest

ProjectPQ had been booked with four fire artists for the large New Year event in Bucharest on December 31, 2007. We were supposed to create a fireshow with four firedancer for the evening's highlight at midnight, performing to the live music by the well-known band Tandarica. With 10,000 spectators, the event in the  RomExpo in Bucharest was completely sold. A number of local famous bands as well as Alphaville performed on the stage. A lot of camera crews were shooting the shows in order to enable viewers to watch everything closely at the event and on TV. Besides the live appearance on TV, also the guests at the RomExpo could watch the events on large projection screens and giant monitors all over the RomExpo. At five to midnight, people watched our fireshow live on stage and also on TV. After two days with many rehearsals, we delivered a terrific, beautiful performance. After the fire show with a lot of pyrotechnics, Tom Jones rocked the house and we partied with more than 70 artists until the morning.
